Alexey Chubarets, the owner of an agricultural company in the Krasnodar region ( Primorsko- Achtarskij area ) has bought a heavy disc harrow APAVR Fleaux Fleaux, a compact disc harrow Discator 610, a harrow HET and a seeder Prosem K with disc coulters from the company QUIVOGNE.
“Our area is specialized of agriculture: nearly 80,000 hectares of arable land, mainly black soil. There are many farms in the Krasnodar region and there is tough competition between the companies. Our company uses the heavy disc harrow APVRS Fleaux Fleaux for postharvest-handling of crop residues of maize and sunflowers. We work at a depth of 20-23 cm – this is the optimum depth . Thanks to the strong and aggressive discs Fleaux Fleaux the trash burial of large amounts of plant populations (fallow, green mass) and crop residues (corn, sunflower) is no problem. We use the unit in the fall (by only one pass) , which is not possible with the usual disc harrow . Another disc harrow would do such a task by at least two passes and a large inclination of the disk sections, resulting in high fuel costs.
During the winter the soil retains moisture and the frost breaks large clods.
With the heavy disc harrow APVRS Fleaux Fleaux QUIVOGNE we have already saved many thousand rubles. I think one can use this disk harrow for the working depth of up to 25 cm also as a plow.
In the spring, we first work with the cultivators and then start seeding.
With the Diskator 610 we work after the harvest of grain and legumes. The uniqueness of this device consists in the discs of 610 mm diameter and the spacing of the disc rows of 130 cm, since no other agricultural equipment manufacturer can offer such devices on the market today.
The idea is quite simple and great! By the discs of 610 mm and the spacing between the disc rows of 130 cm the crop residues are not reflected by the front disc rows to the rear disc rows . That makes mixing of large amounts of crop residues unproblematic.
We have deliberately chosen Diskator 610: our fields suffer from wind erosion. The Diskator 610 allows us to mix flatly crop residues in the upper soil layers, thus soil erosion can be reduced significantly.
Thanks to the use of the harrow HET we can reduce the use of herbicides; this way we can save many costs .
With the help of Prosem K we sow corn and sunflowers. The Prosem K is characterized by the optimal accuracy of the seeding and keeping of the precise working depth and the good re-compression of the seed rows.
The work is essentially facilitated by the onboard computer. The onboard computer controls the spacing of the rows, spacing within the row, the application of seed, fertilizer and micro-granules.
The agricultural equipment QUIVOGNE gives us a chance to use natural and human resources economically and effectively, to increase the fertility of the soil and to obtain high yields.
